Test cases for Stabilizer?

A Stabilizer has many flaws. It is not suitable to filter out the

dangerous waves (or spikes).

I have been involved in power protection since 20 years.

First is that stabilizers can not filter out the real dangers 0 the voltage spikes.

Spikes or surges occur in the grid frequently and damage you equipment beyond repair.

In our studies we have isolated spikes of up to 4000 Volts (!)

in the domestic grid.

The time span of such spikes is approx. 2 - 4 msec.

Unfortunately there is so much ignorance about the impact

that it is hard to explain them

In my first employment we were losing equipment to the tune of

o.5 Mio USD.

I installed the best equipment to protect our machinery and the

phenomen was a thing of the past.

Large scale installations as well as domestic applications can be

obtained, but there is a lot of junk out there and should not be left to Novices.
