how long can it take to fall pregnant?





Someone told me as long as a year, and even up to 9months is normal?!





i really want to be, and i'm so unbelievably scared to take a test because if it comes back negative ill be really upset, that means another whole month of trying :(

well a whole month isnt that long, i have polycystic overies, which has caused me to not ovulate, and not get pregnant, ive been trying for 19mo, and i was diagnosed after the birth of my daughter with this issue, so it has been 19mo and im not pregnant,and i have sex at least 3 times per week and have not ever used any type of protection or birthcontrol, if you have a normal cycle(starting your period every month with in a few days) you ovulate between periods, meaning that when your period ends, you will ovulate between the 8th and the 16th day after your period ends, and regular lubes can kill sperm, so use preseed if you are in need of some extra lube to get it going!!, and im sending you some baby dust, if you think that you concieved before 2 weeks ago you can take an early result pregnancy test like first response!!!! email me if you want to talk or have other concerms or questions, and let me know what the test results show!!Im really scared to take a pregnancy test in case its negative! share your stories?
I know how u feel, i am going to through the same thing and yes is very stressful when u think that ur pregnant and the test come out negative. but dont give up! Have u tried going to a infertility clinic? if not than just try it , a dr. will do some tests like blood work ,ultrasounds, he will also do a sperm count for you partner. i been married for about 5 years but i had been trying to concieve for about 8 years prior to this marriage and just last year my husband an i decided to consult a dr. and he prescribed me with clomid, and a month later i became pregnant.A year ago know i lost my baby. but know i been trying to concieve again its harder for me because i dont have any medical insurance. please dont give up , keep on trying and and have faith in god and soon u will become a mommy. good luck.
Yes, it true for a normal couple to take at least 6mth to 12mths to get pregnant. It may take longer for those who suffer from fertility issues. If you are been ttc for over a year w/o success.. it time to consider a fertility specialist espcially if you are over 35yrs
It can take a healthy couple a year to concieve. Me and dh have been TTC for over two years and still have had no luck. I have PCOS so that makes it harder.


Just give it time and try not to stress. It will happen with it is time.
It can take healthy couples up to over a year to become pregnant.
