How prevalent is hair testing in probation/parole cases?

Hair testing for signs of drug/alcohol abuse. I am aware that urinalysis/breath testing is quite common to determine an offender's history of use/abuse, but is hair testing ever used?How prevalent is hair testing in probation/parole cases?
Our department does not use hair testing... It's far too expensive...How prevalent is hair testing in probation/parole cases?
hair testing wouldn't really be used, its to complicated, they use the urine drug screen testing, cause its cheap.
I am not sure, but you could shave your head? :D
