If she has a history of proven drug use then yes they can require a test be done on either her hair or a random test done from time to time to make sure she is clean but if you have no proof of drug use, if she has no record then they may not do it.Will the court require that my ex submit to a hair folicle drug test for child custody case?
They might do a urine test, but not sure about a hair test because with the hair test they can go back several months (I had one done for a job at a casino), so if she HAD been using and she stopped it might still show up on the follicle test.
Maybe, if you tell them you think she's doing drugs, they may give her a test but I don't think you get to decide if it's a hair or urine test.
I requested a drug test through the courts (Virginia) we had 2 weeks notice yes we both had to take one. Anyway it was only urine.
if he does not go to court your lawyer should be able to get full custody at the hearing..maybe will have to let him see them..i never heard about what you are asking
